Natural gas possesses distinctive properties that are valued in many segments.
CNG is a light gaseous fuel that adapts well to ordinary-fuels substitution, mainly gasoline. In these cases, it is not uncommon for vehicles to operate with two fuels, CNG or its original fuel.
CNG can be used in vehicles such as taxicabs, buses, company fleets, private and business vehicles and many others. Its countless benefits have contributed to the growing number of vehicles being converted worldwide every year. Vehicles can either be manufactured to operate with CNG or be later converted at authorized conversion centers.
Its convenient cost-benefit ratio, safety and lower environmental impact make natural gas a good option for residential and commercial purposes. Its application-span includes cookers, refrigeration, water heaters, washing-machines among others.
For industrial purposes natural gas can efficiently substitute any solid, liquid or gaseous fuel. It addition, it can be used as raw material for the petro-chemical (methanol production), steel and fertilization sectors. It is also ideal for processes that require burning in close contact with the final product, as it is the case of ceramics or glass manufacturing.
