Supply

Natural gas is carried from the gas field to refueling stations through supply gas pipes.
This network is as important and safe as the electrical, telephone, water networks or fiber optic lines. It is made up of long lasting, resistant steel tubes with corrosion-protection coverings and specific welding.

The network expansion is carried out by burying (usually following urban mapping). Distance to buildings and other networks are always observed and gas pipes are clearly signposted to prevent problems with works or excavations.

As the CNG fleet increases, so does the demand at refueling stations. Therefore, all companies and responsible organizations should invest in gas pipe expansion for the appropriate feeding of the entire network.

Natural gas is carried at relatively low pressure through the network and each refueling station is equipped with a compression system that stores gas at high pressure to fill vehicles with CNG. These systems must be supplied by producers that can guarantee quality and integral technical assistance.
